HAB is a 501(c)3 organization that was established in 2009 and is located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We offer recreational basketball opportunities throughout the year for athletes (boys and girls) in grades 1st-12th, competitive programs for athletes in grades 5th-12th, and various training opportunities and camps for athletes of all ages. 

HAB's vision is that we are relationship builders through the game of basketball. We provide opportunities for boys and girls to gain lifelong values, lessons, and friendships. Through our commitment to excellence in all things (relationships, community, basketball, effort, attitude, character, etc) players are provided the opportunity to excel in life.

HAB has six core values instilled into everything we do and teach. They are Excellence, Community/ Relationships/ Friendships, Teamwork, Learning/ Growing, Ownership/ Accountability, and All Around Athletes. Routinely older, more experienced players ask how they can help out with youth programming. We continually have older athletes and past players volunteer to help with camps and clinics assisting in skill development, overseeing 3v3 games, and demonstrating skills and tactics for our younger players. This type of servant leadership and willingness to volunteer free time demonstrates the community and connectedness players feel to these programs.
